For Black and underserved communities, financial literacy can transform life from financial stress into financial success. We believe financial education is the foundation of success, helping individuals not only make better money decisions but also empowering them to set and achieve career goals.

Growing up, our founder, Latora Green, witnessed firsthand the challenges many people in her community faced due to a lack of financial education. While talking to kids, teens, and adults, it became clear that financial literacy was not just a gap, but a barrier keeping many from achieving their goals.

Latora herself was no stranger to these struggles. Coming out of high school, she, too, lacked a strong foundation in financial literacy. Navigating the world of finances wasn’t just challenging—it was overwhelming. Without the necessary knowledge to make informed financial decisions, Latora struggled with debt management, savings and long-term financial planning.

Determined to break the cycle, Latora took it upon herself to gain financial knowledge through trial and error, learning everything from saving strategies to credit repair, and even homeownership. With renewed financial confidence, Latora knew it was time to give back and the Career Pathway Program was born.

Latora aims to provide accessible financial education to our community—so that young people don’t have to learn the hard way, as she did. The program equips people of all ages with the practical skills needed to navigate the world of finances, build wealth, and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.
